Android Car stereo design for following Mercedes SLK factory fitted screen:

if you have NTG1 Comand APS or NTG1 Audio 50 APS head units in your car, the audio system is powered separately by a fiber optic amplifier located under the passenger footrest. These head units lack traditional speaker outputs and connect through orange fiber-optic cables. To integrate an aftermarket unit, you must run an extension kit to access the speaker and power wires under the passenger seat, which can make installation more time-consuming but is still manageable. The extension kit, which is optional, allows for the use of only four speakers with the aftermarket unit, as the original amplifier is bypassed in favor of the internal amplifier of the new radio. 1. If your vehicle does not have the external Harman/Kardon Logic 7 Surround Sound System, the head unit and audio gateway are combined, allowing for a direct plug-and-play replacement using the provided standard wiring adapter.
2. If your vehicle does have the Harman/Kardon system, the head unit is separate from the sound amplifier. In this case, the aftermarket head unit will still be a direct plug-and-play replacement, but you will also need an optional Fiber Optic (MOST) adapter to ensure compatibility with the original Harman/Kardon system, allowing all speakers to function as before. This product is NOT compatible with Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class(R171) Japan model. Because the connectors behind the radio(Japan model) are totally different from head unit from other countries.
